My look at the famed Horsehead nebula, still needs a little work but Alnitak has driven me mad :) Got the focus pretty tight on this I think.

Thanks Conor I've actually spent another 3-4 hours dinking with the corners and getting the green out from Alnitak, looks tons better wish there was a Edit photo option and you could just switch it. I did use PI to knock it down with lightness masks but the surrounding areas kept trying to come back screaming blue :)

You never cease to amaze me, Dave. This is an amazing image and really excellently processed. Definitely wall/coffee table book worthy in my opinion. I find using star masks to process the stars separately in PI is pretty useful when you've got a few bright ones in the frame like this. Looks great to me all the same.

Saw this on my son's Ipad and had to jump on to comment. Great image! Ther focus is more than tight, it is perfect as is the processing. Well done, just needs a frame and a place on the wall to hang it.

Trevor, thanks it was at our clubs "dark sky" site even though it's a blue zone it works :)

Really, Really nice Dave! Wow those colours are amazing. I'm guessing you had a great dark sky site to take this. Well done!
