Thanks for your kind comments. I was running the Canon 1000D with BackyardEOS in planetary mode with asa set to 800 and 5x enlargement. I was able to reach exposures up to around 21 p/s. I set number of pictures to 1000 and processed the avi file in RegStax6 and stacked 30% of the best pictures and finalised the picture in PS.

If you don't mind my asking, how long were the exposures and how many did you take? I have the same cam and would love to try it on Jupiter.

Wow! That is a spectacular DSLR image. I've always wanted to try this. Maybe with BackyardEOS, I can do something (smaller) with my Tak TOA-150. Congrats. Great work.
