Perry Pezzolanella, MVAS, looking for his 339th ASTEROID. He has visually captured almost 400 now (October, 2011). He has over 16,000 to go. Notice that he averts his eyes so he doesn't lose his night vision. He is our local weather EXPERT. He is a walking cornucopia of knowledge.

Here how he does it:
He finds the approximate asteroid in the sky. Then re-locates it 3 hours later to see which object moved. Perry is a very patient astronomer and also writes articles in the MVAS-NY newsletter.

Wow! I missed that. I am just overwhelmed by his Astreroid Hunting that I just go back to obserivng the stars etc. Get him for a speaker at your Astro Club.
