above Johannesburg, moon, Venus, Mars (right and above Venus), Saturn (below Venus at three times the distance of Mars) and beneath: Mercury, 14 August 2010; there should be a comet under Mercury, but that one is not visible

exposure of 10 sec: i pressed my 17-70 mm @ 17 lens against the wall and hold my breath for ten sec :-); repeated that several times and here is the best

haha, could do more than ten sec, like most of us
but was worried about moving the camera
i should buy a small tripod ........
