30 or so 45 second subs at ISO 1600. Canon 450d (full spectrum modified with Astronomik UV-IR cut) at prime focus in Astro Tech 65EDQ.

Hey Dan.

Pretty darn good for only 45 sec shots. The ISO of 1600 helps for those short timed shots. It sounds like you and I have the same camera with the same mod. I've found through testing that my 450 has a lot less noise at 800 ISO but of course you need to shoot a little longer. I like your stars in this shot. Nice and clean. My SCT bloats the stars plus the cabling on the Hyperstar leaves spikes. Here's a link to mine if you're interested.
